The crown princess of the Light elves, Iluminata grew up with great responsibilities. As a child of the royal family she acted as the head priestess of the light pantheon temple on the Isle of Elves, she was taught how to govern her kingdom and loved her people dearly knowing the name of each person in the capital. She expected a bright future, however, she didn't expect the pain she would endure. Organash the right hand of the fallen one, used his abilities to entice members of other elven tribes to revolt and commit a massacre of her people. During her younger twins sibling's birthday party many guests from different tribes and kingdoms came to celebrate, as the massacre commenced she and her family fought to the last. However as she had been ordered to protect their foreign guest she was the last of her people standing, filled with anguish after getting them to safety took on Organash himself. Organash in an act of spite and malice placed the first-ever curse on her, no matter the sickness or wound she would not die. Iluminata was beside herself, not sure how to go on after the loss of everyone she loved. God however came to help her, he gave a prophecy that one day a child of light would be born that would help to lift her curse. He also made it so that any curse from now on will have a loophole to help remove them, so that the afflicted can have a chance. In the meantime Iluminata took to studying magic and wandering the world helping others, eventually earning the title of The Great Sage, she is also the expert on curse breaking. By the time of The First Cursed and The Chosen Child, she has married a human man and mothered a light elf daughter Alana 2nd, named after her late younger sister. Having a child was shocking for her as she realized she could bring her people back, she was a bit overprotective of Alana during her childhood, but by her adulthood, she had managed to mellow considerably.
